ADULT 18+ CLASSES
Begins September 15

Come and join adults of all ages (college, young, middle, and older!) in an opportunity to study God's Word and ways together.

Romans 8

Led by Matthew Dickerson; Meets at 9am in Fellowship Hall
This in-depth study of Romans 8 will begin with an overview of the entire book of Romans before diving into chapter 8.  Those interested in attending this adult class should read through the entire book of Romans at least two times before the first meeting. The first time, try to read the entire book in one sitting, as though reading a letter (which is what the book is!)  The second time, read more slowly and pay attention to all the references to glory and how the word is used, and to all the references to the Spirit.
Those interested in deeper personal study may want to use N.T. Wright’s book Into the Heart of Romans as a study guide, but it is not required. There will not be any official readings from the book, and the first few chapters are challenging reading—but the second half of the book could be very helpful, and Matthew will be using the book as he teaches and leads the class.

NOTE: Core elements meets at 8:30am
