Sermon on the Mount - Meets in Fellowship Hall Classroom at 9am, led by Matthew Dickerson.Sunday morning small group exploring Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount recorded in Matthew 5-7. Those interested in participating should read those chapters in a couple different translations between now and the September 14. We will spend the first several weeks on Matthew 5:1-11, a section of the sermon known as the Beatitudes. It would be helpful to meditate on that passage regularly through the month of September, considering it in multiple translations such as The Message, NIV, First Nations Version (FNVNT), and NRSV.
You might even try to memorize them as you prepare.
-
Book of Revelation - Meets in the Sanctuary at 8:30-9:15am, led by Pastor Stephanie
The book of Revelation is a mixture of narrative, allegory, poetry, hymns, and apocalyptic literature. It is complex, beautiful and prophetic. We will meet Sunday mornings at 830 in the Sanctuary to go through the book chapter-by-chapter. We will have all notes on our website as this class will be taught in an inductive style. We will prepare ahead by reading the chapter beforehand and come to class prepared to discuss any questions and comments.
-
Discipleship 101 - Meets in the Rowe Library at 9:00am, led by Deborah Dickerson
This is for anyone just beginning a relationship with God, anyone who wants to grow, anyone who has felt stuck or discouraged in their relationship with God, anyone who isn't sure if they are a Christian. This time will be guided by Deborah Dickerson who has experienced all of the above.

Small Group 11:30am-12:30pm - 1st & 3rd Sundays, start date TBA
Led by Pastor Stephanie Coffee, tea and snacks provided.
Though we will be reading and discussing the Gospel of Mark, this group is more than a study. It is to be a place to discover how to share life together and experience koinonia, a Greek word used in the Bible to describe the Body of Christ together. Its meaning goes beyond what we think fellowship means. Koinonia describes a vital bond with one another, being present and known in joy and need, which the Holy Spirit makes possible.
Life offers no certainties and, though, we have always needed one another, it seems more so now. Let's strengthen that bond the Spirit offers to grow in us. Let's go beyond Sunday morning friendships.
This group will begin when we have 4 or more people. Please use the sign-up link. (If childcare is needed, you can indicate that on the form.) Sign-up HERE.
